The Thursday Dispatch

The Thursday Dispatch is ReportUltra's free weekly email. It is a short, readable digest for people who want the signal without the noise, and it arrives once a week, on Thursday mornings US Eastern time.

What is in each issue

Every issue follows the same format: three anomalies and one deep dive.

• Three anomalies. Brief notes on patterns in public information that look out of step with the usual story, such as a lengthening queue, a narrowing supplier base or an unusual regulatory move. Each is a prompt for curiosity, not a verdict.
• One deep dive. A longer look at a single topic, often connected to a published dossier, with the reasoning laid out so that you can disagree with it.

Like the dossiers, the Dispatch is analysis built from public knowledge. During the launch edition it does not contain original reporting, and it never claims leaked material or proprietary data.

How to subscribe

Subscription currently works by email. Send a message to [email protected] with the subject line "Subscribe". The editors will add the address you wrote from to the list. There is no sign-up form, no account to create and no password.

How to unsubscribe

You can leave at any time. Reply to any issue, or write to [email protected], and ask to be removed. No explanation is needed, and we will not try to persuade you to stay.

What it costs

Nothing. The Thursday Dispatch is free. ReportUltra has no paid plans, and there are no sponsors, so no issue contains advertising or paid placement. Your address is used only to send the Dispatch and to reply to your messages. We do not sell it or share it with advertisers.

Timing and expectations

Issues are sent on Thursday mornings, US Eastern time. If an issue is delayed, it goes out as soon as it is ready, and we would rather skip a week than send filler. Apps are planned for the future, but the email is the only channel today.
