Launch draft. This policy describes how ReportUltra works at launch. It is a draft pending legal review and may change. We have tried to keep it plain and accurate.
A static site, by design
ReportUltra is a static website. It has no user accounts, no login system and no server-side database of visitors. We do not ask you to register in order to read anything.
The contact form
Where the site offers a contact form, it does not send your message to a server we operate. Submitting it opens your own email application with a pre-filled message addressed to [email protected], using a standard mailto link. Nothing is transmitted until you press send in your email program. Once we receive a message, we use it only to respond and to improve our work.
Information stored in your browser
Two features store small amounts of data in your browser's localStorage:
- Saved dossiers. If you save a dossier for later, that choice is kept on your device only.
- Theme preference. Your light or dark display choice is remembered the same way.
This data never leaves your device through our site. You can remove it at any time by clearing site data in your browser settings.
Third-party resources
To display the site, your browser loads fonts and styling from Google Fonts and the Tailwind CDN. When your browser requests those files, the providers may log technical details such as your IP address and browser type, according to their own policies. We do not control that logging. If this concerns you, a browser extension or network setting that blocks third-party requests may help, though the site's appearance may change.
Analytics and advertising
At launch, we do not use analytics tools, advertising networks or tracking cookies. If that changes, we will update this page before the change takes effect.
Newsletter
If you subscribe to the Thursday Dispatch by emailing us, we keep your address only to send the Dispatch. We do not sell it, rent it or use it for other purposes. You can ask to be removed at any time.
Your rights
You may ask us what correspondence we hold from you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it and your newsletter address to be deleted. Email [email protected] with your request. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will do our best to respect them.
Changes and review
This is a launch draft and has not yet been reviewed by legal counsel. We expect to revise it as the site grows. Material changes will be reflected on this page. Questions about privacy can be sent to [email protected].
