Music fans have shared a theory that the raid on P Diddy’s house may have played a ‘factor in J’Lo and Ben Affleck’s split.’ Newsnation reveals Suge Knight’s claims about the former couple after Diddy’s arrest.
Her shock split from Ben Affleck sent the celebrity world reeling, and now fans have shared a bizarre theory for the ‘real reason’ for J’Lo and Ben’s demise – in the wake of her ex P Diddy’s arrest.
Eagle-eyed fans seem to think J’Lo’s past connection to Diddy may have been ‘a factor’ in her estrangement from Hollywood veteran Ben. It came after shocking claims from former record executive and convicted felon Suge Knight in his podcast series claiming Ben was given tapes from the FBI from Diddy’s raid and claimed ‘JLo was in them.’
Newsnation reports: “Suge Knight believes the rumored impending divorce between Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck is the result of Lopez’s appearance in tapes the FBI seized in the raid on Sean “Diddy” Combs’ homes.
Meanwhile a throwback photo of Jennifer Lopez and Diddy snuggled up with several other notable individuals from the industry has resurfaced online. The image, now making rounds on social networks, captures Diddy and Jennifer in an intimate pose with the dearly departed R’n’B sensation Aaliyah, the late Andre Harrell, supermodel Natane Adcock, and entrepreneur Damon Dash, reports the Mirror US.
The photo shows Lopez, Diddy, and their friends posing together on a bed, all smiling, at Diddy’s Fourth of July party in the Hamptons in 2000. At the time, Lopez and Diddy were in a relationship, which lasted from 1999 to 2001.
The image has been circulating on social media, prompting reactions from fans. One person commented, “This Diddy scene aged horribly,” while another said, “That divorce with Ben Affleck makes more sense now.”
Others have also chimed in, with one stating, “Oh s- -t we don’t know what happened that night, we might have to get Jennifer Lopez too” and another noting, “JLo has been awfully quiet.”
This comes as Diddy was recently arrested in Manhattan, New York, and charged with sex trafficking and racketeering. He is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, and has been denied bail twice.
