Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been estranged from the royal family for years, but it’s believed Kate Middleton is ready to try and fix the broken relationship
Kate Middleton “will reach out to Harry and Meghan” over Christmas in a bid to end the royal feud, according to a former royal butler.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex became estranged from the royal family after stepping down four years ago. Tensions have been rising between the two sides ever since, with Harry and Meghan sharing plenty of Palace secrets in their bombshell Netflix docuseries.
However, former royal butler Grant Harrold believes Princess Kate is now ready to start mending the relationship. He believes she will contact Harry and Meghan over the holidays, possibly enjoying a FaceTime call with them.
“I believe that Catherine will reach out to Harry and Meghan and wish them a Happy Christmas and I think Harry and Meghan themselves will possibly reach out,” he said.

The olive branch from Kate would come as she has been returning to work after completing her chemotherapy treatment back in September. The Princess of Wales was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year following planned abdominal surgery
Harrold concluded, “I like to think deep down that things are moving in the right direction. I have a feeling that they are. I really do think they are.”
Harry and Meghan have not celebrated Christmas with the royal family at the Sandringham Estate since 2018, two years before they stepped down as senior royals and moved to Montecito, California. It’s believed the Sussexes will spend this festive season at their home with their two children – Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
King Charles and the rest of the royal family traditionally travel to Norfolk every Christmas, attending the annual Christmas Day service in the morning and enjoying a communal Christmas meal later in the day. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have only celebrated two holiday seasons with the royal family. The first was in 2017, before their wedding, and the second in 2018.
