Megan Thee Stallion’s upcoming docuseries In Her Words now has an official release date and streaming home.

In an announcement released on Monday (September 30), the documentary which centers on the life and times of “Hot Girl Meg’s” humble beginnings in Houston to becoming a global superstar,  will be available for streaming on Prime Video on October 31.

According to a synopsis of the doc: “This upcoming documentary spends two years in the life of rapper and singer Megan Thee Stallion. It takes viewers behind the scenes as the global superstar recovers from a 2020 shooting incident and grapples with the perils of fame (among other things).”

“You’ve heard the hot takes and read the stories — now go straight to the source.”

Originally reported by Variety in 2022, the documentary is a collaboration between Time Studios and Roc Nation.

“We are thrilled to be able to work with Roc Nation to share Megan’s story with the world,” Time Studios’ co-head of documentary Loren Hammonds said in a statement. “Millions of people are familiar with her as an entertainer, but this series will give her a chance to share her truth as never before.

“Her story is a powerful one, and the accomplishments that she continues to achieve are remarkable,” Hammond continued. “We feel lucky to have this opportunity to capture her at a crucial moment in her life and career, as she continues to grow exponentially in both her artistry and global impact.”

Megan Gets A New Smile:

In addition to the release of the documentary, the ‘BOA” rapper took to Instagram on Sunday (September 29) to share her new diamond-encrusted grill that was designed by renowned jeweler and fellow Houston native Johnny Dang & Co. and even teased a new song with her followers.

“@johnnydangandco almost done working hotties brb (the song is not out yet),” Meg’s caption read.
