STEPHEN A. Smith has torn into the Cincinnati Bengals over their handling of Ja’Marr Chase’s contract saga.

Smith joined fellow analysts Dan Orlovsky and Jason McCourty to preview the Bengals showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
Host Molly Qerim asked how much pressure was on Cincinnati QB Joe Burrow after a poor Week 1 outing.
Stephen A. took the debate in a different direction, attacking the franchise over Chase.
Star wideout Chase has been involved in a contract dispute with the organization throughout the offseason.
The two sides have yet to agree on a deal, with Chase a hold-in during training camp.
“You are listening to a guy and looking at a guy right now who hopes Cincinnati loses every single damn game they play until they sign that man and give him his money,” Smith raged.
“I hope that the Cincinnati Bengals fall flat on their damn face.
“That organization makes me sick.”
Chase suited up in Week 1 against the New England Patriots, catching all six of his targets for 62 yards.
But Stephen A. hadn’t finished his rant and slammed the Bengals for failing to give quarterback Joe Burrow the weapons he deserves at receiver.
“This man, Mike Brown, here you are,” directly appealing to the Bengals President.
“You got Joe Burrow, who is an all-world quarterback, won a national championship at LSU, came into the NFL.
“He got injured his first year as a rookie. He comes back and all he does is go to back-to-back AFC Championships.
“This is an organization that spent years having fans wear bags over their heads.

“Here you are. You luck up. You get a guy like Joe Burrow on your squad who flat-out balls.
“It doesn’t matter who he goes up against.
“You pay him his money, but then going to give a problem to the people that he utilizes as primary weapons.”
Fans were quick to comment on Smith’s take, which quickly went viral on X.
“The man needs paying. Today,” replied one fan.
“Vibes are just bad with Bengals right now,” said another.
“Why does Burrow need Chase? Burrow is supposed to be so good that anyone off the street can be a receiver for him. Don’t pay Chase,” countered a third.
