AN NFL legend has been called a possibility to replace John Harbaugh if things don’t get better in Baltimore Ravens land.
The Super Bowl champion head coach Harbaugh and even two-time NFL MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson have been questioned after the Ravens’ brutal 0-2 start to the 2024 season.

While the Ravens were competitive against the powerhouse Kansas City in Week 1, losing 27-20, the team suffered a disappointing 26-23 Week 2 defeat to the Las Vegas Raiders – a team that entered the season in the bottom 10 in Super Bowl odds.
The Ravens’ start to the year has caused fans, and even analysts, to panic.
There have even been suggestions to fire Harbaugh if the team continues to struggle.
While it’s highly unlikely that Baltimore will fire Harbaugh, Fansided writer Matt Sidney proposed five potential replacements for the 61-year-old.
One of them would be a stunning decision.
The analyst thinks New England Patriots icon Bill Belichick could make sense as a solution to replace Harbaugh.
“Belichick-led teams are expected to perform well and win Super Bowls. What better match than a Ravens team starved for Super Bowls and a head coach who will do anything and everything to win them?” Sidney wrote.
“He’s up there in the age department, but he’s clearly one of the best football minds to ever play the game.
“He’d bring his defense-first and run-heavy approach to a roster that fits the mold perfectly.”
Belichick mutually agreed to part ways with the Patriots in January after 24 seasons and six championships.
New England had a disappointing 4-13 record in his last campaign with the team.
Still, Belichick will likely be a top head coaching candidate ahead of the 2025 season.
He is currently a TV analyst on ESPN’s programming which includes weekly appearances on The Pat McAfee Show and ManningCast.
Harbaugh will likely continue his tenure with the Ravens.

He has a 172-109 career record with the organization.
As for Jackson, he has received blame after Baltimore had a 10-point lead early in the fourth quarter.
And in his five seasons in the NFL, the Jackson-led Ravens has lost 10 games when they’ve had a lead of seven or more points in the fourth quarter – the most in that span.
ESPN star Stephen A. Smith called out the $260 million man Jackson during a rant on First Take.
“When we gonna look at him?” Smith quipped. “You got your bag. You got the MVP stature. You the man, go out there and figure it out. It’s really, really that simple.
“Now, I’m not saying that he has to do it by himself, because we know better than that, but the reality is, the game was there for you to win.
You had a 10-point lead in the fourth quarter with 12 minutes left.
“You get the ball back too when the opposing team puts the ball in the end zone.
“What [are] you gonna do about it? How many fourth-quarter leads are you gonna lose?
“That’s a legitimate question and I think that he needs to answer.”
Some social media users have even shared their doubts about Jackson’s future with Baltimore.
Still, he is a reigning MVP who is under contract through 27, making him a Raven until further notice.
Baltimore will look to claim their first win against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 3.
