ESPN host Pat McAfee had no mercy after a Michigan fan’s on-air fail on College GameDay.
The fan attempted a field goal at the Wolverines’ campus ahead of their clash with Texas on Saturday.

But the ball went nowhere near the goalposts with the kick being both too short and wide out.
Kirk Herbstreit, who served as the holder, signaled the attempt was no good.
Meanwhile, McAfee, 37, ripped the fan to shreds.
“You’re an embarrassment, sorry buddy,” the former NFL kicker said.
“I think that means Texas wins today.”
The crowd asked for the fan to get another shot, but McAfee suggested it would be pointless to do so.
“That was a waste of time,” the ESPN star said while shaking his head.
“Pat is ruthless,” one posted on X.
“Brutal honesty,” another added.

“Jeez, that was rude,” a third said.
“Wasn’t impressed with the kick,” one wrote, adding a laughing emoji.
McAfee had to intervene when Michigan fans started X-rated chants during another segment of College GameDay.
The crowd could be heard screaming “f**k Ohio, prompting the Indianapolis Colts icon to chime in and say, “I think they’re saying ‘truck Ohio.'”
College football’s 2024 shake-up
Oklahoma and Texas switching from the Big 12 to the SEC is one of the biggest changes to college football in recent times.
And that has set off a chain reaction which has left the Pac-12 conference decimated.
The Pac-12 has lost 10 of its 12 members and is down to just Oregon State and Washington State.
Four of those teams are headed for the Big 12 – Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado and Utah.
Another four are going to the Big 10 – Oregon, UCLA, USC and Washington.
And the other two teams, California and Stanford, will join the ACC conference.
No teams have left the SEC, Big Ten or ACC.
Host Reece Davis offered a different interpretation.
“Maybe ‘good luck Ohio,'” he said.
And McAfee responded, “Yeah, I think it’s ‘good luck Ohio.'”
Texas ended up beating Michigan 31-12, improving to 2-0 on the season.
Longhorns quarterback shined on Saturday, throwing for 246 yards and three touchdowns.
“I just enjoy big moments,” he said after the game.
