The Chiefs acknowledged the start of the college football season with two social media posts of the team’s stars when they played for their respective colleges.

Kansas City shared on X a picture of a younger Patrick Mahomes while he was a Texas Tech Raider, linebacker Dre Tanquill when he was a Notre Dame player, and Xavier Worthy as a Texas Longhorn.

The next post showed a snap of the nine-time Pro Bowler Kelce during his Cincinnati Bearcats days and 2024 fourth-round pick TSU product wideout Jared Wiley.

But the pic of Kelce stood out the most as he was seen with a big smile on his face after his game-winning touchdown following Cincinatti’s win against Duke in the Belk Bowl.

The boyfriend of Taylor Swift sported slightly longer hair and a fresh baby face in the photo.

While Kelce still featured his full beard, his arms appeared less muscular than they do in the present day.

Fans revealed their reactions to the barely identifiable Kelce in the comments.

“This photo of Travis always makes me laugh,” one wrote.

“Just look at baby pook,” another said.

“Travis’ last college game, wow,” a third added.

Before his illustrious NFL career, Travis played for Cincinnati alongside his brother Jason Kelce.

The pair were teammates and also roommates together during their time at the college.

Jason was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the sixth round of the 2011 NFL Draft.

The former offensive lineman made seven Pro Bowls and won a Super Bowl title during his 13-year career.

Jason retired in March and will be an ESPN analyst for Monday Night Countdown.

The Kelce brothers are co-hosts of the hit podcast New Heights.

Travis will hope to win a third straight Super Bowl.

The Chiefs will play the Baltimore Ravens in the NFL’s season opener on September 5.

It will be a rematch of last season’s AFC Championship when Kansas City defeated Baltimore 17-10 to advance to the Super Bowl.
