As fans anticipate the release of the show’s fifth season, there have been several fan theories and speculations about potential plot twists and characters. Among these many theories surfacing on the internet, two particularly stand out the most, which hint at the catastrophic death of one character.

Netflix recently gave an update to fans about Stranger Things season 5, stating that the season has already begun filming. With the production underway, fans too have been busy crafting several fan theories across the internet. And two of these theories seem to spell doom for the upcoming season.

As per one Reddit user, there is a deep connection between Will Byers and the Upside Down since season 2. And since it has been common knowledge since season 2 that if the mind dies, the body dies, there is a possibility that Noah Schnapp‘s Will is the true mind to the Upside Down. To save Hawkins and put an end to it all, he would kill himself.

Furthermore, as per the deaths in each previous season, all people who ended up dying had their names beginning with the letter ‘B’, so he might die. As per another fan theory, Millie Bobby Brown‘s Eleven will be the one to close down the gates of Upside Down permanently. Since the story started with her, the story is bound to end up with her, even though Will Byers might be the one to die.

While both theories offer intriguing possibilities for the conclusion of Stranger Things, the upcoming season promises to be a thrilling and emotional ride!

Jamie Campbell Bower portrays the character Henry Creel/Vecna in the hit Netflix show, the main antagonist of the last season. Recently, the actor made an appearance on iHeart’s  I’ve Never Said This Before With Tommy DiDarioand revealed some exciting details about the upcoming season 5.

If you thought last season was nuts, this season is just out of control, wild, like, it’s bonkers. It really, really is. It’s bigger. It’s just completely insane. It’s completely insane. 

Stated the star, as he went on to reveal that while he had managed to keep track of events in the last season, doing the same this season has been a tiring task. Also disclosing how detail-oriented the series’ fifth and final season is, Bower admitted there are a lot of things left to be filmed despite production having begun in January.

With Bower’s revelation about the upcoming season, fans can anticipate a season filled with unexpected twists, intense character arcs, and potentially heartbreaking moments. This combination of fan theories coupled with insights from the cast only adds to the excitement surrounding the last season and we can hardly wait to see it!
