After the end of The Walking Dead, AMC started developing various spinoff shows focusing on various key characters from the show. The second one focused on Norman Reedus’ Daryl Dixon titled The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.
While the majority loved The Walking Dead, the last 2-3 seasons started to show some wear and tear. The Daryl Dixon show is the fifth spinoff show, and fans might have had enough of the franchise already.
With the second season coming in September, Reedus was recently interviewed by Mr FeelGood and was asked about how long he would like to continue playing the character. Norman Reedus Teases High Octane and Visually Stunning Ballerina
Norman Reedus is set to play a major part in the upcoming John Wick spinoff film Ballerina led by Ana de Armas. While plot details are unknown as of yet, the actor teased what audiences can expect from the exciting actioner. In an interview with Collider, Reedus revealed that he had just returned from Budapest, where they added some fight scenes to the film.
While the action took a physical toll on him, the actor had great words to say about Ballerina, calling it a visually stunning and well-acted film. He further teased that it would bring high octane and the fight choreography would be as tight as the John Wick films. He said,
It was painful. [Laughs] I just got back from Budapest where we added more fight scenes to it. So, I went from Japan to Budapest, back to Japan basically. It’s high-octane. It’s a cool story, it’s well-acted, visually stunning, but it’s just like bang, bang, bang, bang, bang. It’s super fun. The choreography is tight, tight, tight. There are no sloppy fights in Ballerina.
The highly anticipated spinoff will be directed by Len Wiseman and will star Armas, Reedus, Gabriel Byrne, Catalina Sandino Moreno, and will see the return of Lance Reddick, Ian McShane, and Keanu Reeves. John Wick Presents: Ballerina will hit theatres on June 6, 2025.
