Liam Payne’s tragic death continues to devastate Kate Cassidy with every new detail that emerges.

If the emotions from the late One Direction singer’s funeral earlier this week weren’t enough, Kate is once again reeling after new footage surfaced of Liam’s final moments — which paints a disturbing and puzzling picture.

Over the weekend, shocking security footage from the CasaSur Palermo hotel Liam was staying at in Buenos Aires, Argentina at the time of his death surfaced, and it’s really unsettling. He’s being carried by three unidentified men, who according to DailyMail.com were hotel employees. A witness told the outlet Liam was “convulsing” on the hotel lobby floor before being carried back to his room, all while the hotel receptionist dialed 911. As we’ve heard, the Strip That Down singer was reportedly acting “aggressive” in the lobby prior to his death.

 

So the disturbing footage has now raised a key question: why was he taken up to his room instead of being held in the lobby for emergency services? Could that have led to a different outcome than death? That’s what his girlfriend seems to think. On Saturday, a close friend of Kate’s told the New York Post:

“Whenever it seems it can’t get more painful for Kate, it gets even more painful. He could have been saved, he could have been helped. It’s devastating — and infuriating.”

We can’t even begin to imagine how difficult this is for her. Everything about this situation remains difficult to fathom, but the security footage is just truly chilling… And what makes it all the more devastating is that its time stamp marks 4:54 p.m. on October 16 — less than 20 minutes before the Teardrops singer tragically died.

So horrible.
