Liam Payne’s Friend Roger Claims He’s Not To Blame For His Death In New Legal Docs – The Hotel Is!

Liam Payne‘s pal swears he was not responsible for the singer’s death. But he has suggestions as to who was!

As Perezcious readers know, Liam died from a fall from his balcony at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires. The investigation has led to three people being arrested and charged last month on charges of abandonment of a person followed by death and the supply and facilitation of narcotics. This included Liam’s friend Rogelio “Roger”  Nores, alleged drug supplier Braian Nahuel Paiz, and an unidentified hotel worker who also allegedly helped him get drugs. The singer is believed to have been so high when he went out on the balcony, he may not have been aware of what he was doing — and wasn’t even conscious at the time of the fall.

Nores has denied the allegations against him. At the beginning of November, he claimed he “never abandoned Liam” since there were plenty of people with the musician when he left the hotel minutes before the tragedy. However, prosecutors say otherwise. For starters, Liam’s dad told police that Nores volunteered back in May to take care of the Teardrops artist and make sure he stayed clean. It sounds like he did the opposite.

Prosecutors can prove Nores knew Liam was drinking and doing drugs again, thanks to text messages between them. The night before his death, the One Direction alum texted Roger about his partying, in which he ordered 9 bottles of whiskey and planned on hooking up with a prostitute — an especially heartbreaking details to his girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, who had left Argentina and returned home days prior. Then, in the morning, Liam allegedly texted Roger again and asked for “6 grams” of a substance.

Roger went to the hotel and had breakfast with Liam, who had whiskey. From there, the Strip That Down crooner continued to look for more drugs throughout the day, this time asking the two sex workers who showed up at the hotel and the hotel employee facing charges. And we all know what happened later that day. So tragic.

So the guy who was in charge of keeping Liam clean not only knew he fell off the wagon again, he was one of the X-Factor alum’s go-to for drugs?? Hard not to see why he is facing criminal charges. However, the pal is once again insisting he is innocent — and pointing fingers elsewhere: at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel!

According to new legal documents filed by his team in Argentina and obtained by TMZ on Wednesday, Nores argues he is not the one to blame for Liam’s death. Instead, he says the hotel is the one at fault here! He claims the hotel operations manager knew Liam was on a three-day bender, where he was drunk and high on drugs. However, they did nothing to help him. They didn’t even have a 24-hour doctor available, which Roger says is required by law. The friend states in the court docs that the hotel should have had a doctor come in the second Liam checked in:

“A world-famous person was staying with obvious signs of being going through a crisis caused by drug intake at that very moment, and they did not even make an effort there to make up for their legal omission of having a 24-hour doctor.”

What’s more, Roger insists he was not the one to leave Liam alone. Remember he previously claimed to have “left 40 minutes before” the fatal fall. He now claims it was the hotel manager who left Liam alone in the room. Roger goes on to say Liam was trying to escape the hotel after staff members had to carry him into his room. You most likely have seen the photos where Liam was forcibly lifted and moved to his room just minutes before his death.

As for the escape theory? He noted the performer had a bag and hat with him when he fell. Previous reports also noted the vocalist tried to make a break for it and was found with a bag strapped around his shoulder and a hat on.

With all this in mind, Roger argues the hotel is partially to blame for Liam’s death – and not him. And it sounds like the judge is seriously considering his accusations. Per TMZ, the judge plans to look into his claims by heading to the hotel to check out the room and the cameras. Wow. Frankly it feels like a lot of bad actors contributed to the destruction of Liam Payne. And there wasn’t a single person there to keep him safe. So sad…
