Kelly Clarkson has done it again!

Fans often gush about the American Idol alum’s ability to seemingly cover songs in any genre and make them her own, and after her latest Kellyoke performance, they’re praising her for turning to a country anthem.

The “Because of You” songstress took to the stage on her eponymous talk show on Nov. 7 and performed a heart-wrenching version of the Reba McEntire classic “You Lie,” prompting fans to commend her talents.

The daytime talk show posted a clip of the song on Instagram, and fans took to the comments to tell Clarkson how touching it was. “🙌😭 why do u have to do that to us, Kelly 🔥,” wrote one fan, while another said “Fantastic version! 😍.”

“Absolutely amazing! You Lie is one of those songs I never thought could be covered. You slayed!” said one commenter, and another agreed, writing that they “felt that right in the cracks of my heart ❤️.”
