JASON Kelce has gotten his ESPN career off to a hilarious start.

The six-time NFL All-Pro, 36, announced retirement after 13 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles in March.

Shortly afterward, Jason announced he was joining ESPN as a member of their Monday Night Countdown crew on a three-year deal.

Jason’s broadcasting career began on Monday ahead of the San Francisco 49ers’ home game against the New York Jets, and the Eagles legend was on top form from the word ‘go.’

After introducing Kelce, Ryan Clark, and Marcus Spears to the show, host Scott Van Pelt quickly poked fun at the newcomer.

“We are thrilled to welcome in an All-NFL selection, future gold jacket wearer, he’s got a podcast that apparently is doing fairly well, and all that said, Jason Kelce is wearing a shirt that he got at the mall because he left his travel bag in the truck,” Van Pelt said.

“Fits my belly now I’ve lost a little bit of weight, but my t**s are still struggling,” Jason jokingly responded, much to Spears’ delight.

“The fact that a Hall of Fame center can shop at Lululemon, that’s big man, that’s a big accomplishment,” Clark replied.

Jason’s hysterical introduction went down a storm with fans on X.

“Classic Kelce,” said one fan.

“30 secs in and he already talked about his t**s. Well played @JasonKelce,” commented a second.

“Hey he wears it well,” added another.

While a fourth replied, “@JasonKelce is the perfect fit for this show! The shirt on the other hand well maybe next week’s shirt will fit!”

Jason’s brother and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis also weighed in on his wardrobe error.

“Surprised he bought a new one and didn’t just go shirtless,” he tweeted.

After the segment made the rounds on X, Jason was posed a question by one fan which he seemingly hadn’t considered ahead of the show.

“Jason, can you say t**s on TV?” the fan asked.

“I don’t know, did they bleep it?” Jason responded – the answer being no.

Jason’s Monday Night Football debut also saw him take a sneaky dig at the Carolina Panthers early on.

Each host presented their candidate for the “Himmie Award” for Week 1 – which viewers can vote on.

Jason’s candidate was Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield after going 24 of 30 for four touchdowns in their 37-20 Week 1 win against the Washington Commanders.

“Started out in the Cleveland Browns. Doesnt really work out. Ends up with the [Carolina] Panthers,” he said of Mayfield.

“I don’t think anything worked out with the Panthers the last few years.”

This left Spears in stitches once again, with Carolina having kicked off their season on Sunday with a brutal 47-10 loss to the New Orleans Saints.

Jason will return to ESPN on Monday, September 16 when his beloved Eagles host the Atlanta Falcons.
