Brady was alongside play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt as the coverage of the NFL game began.
Burkhardt introduced the New England Patriots icon to TV viewers as the duo then spoke about the Cowboys Pro Bowler Prescott.
The play-by-play broadcaster brought up that Prescott penned a massive four-year, $240 million contract extension earlier on Sunday.
The deal will make Prescott the highest-paid NFL player in league history.
Brady believes that the 31-year-old will have to prove his worth this season.
“Now he’s gotta go out there and earn it,” Brady said.
“2023 was his best season.
“Going forward, it’s going to be what happens in the postseason.”
Prescott will be in a Cowboys uniform through the 2028 season.
His deal includes $231 million guaranteed – the most in NFL history.
Dallas has secured extensions with Prescott and wideout CeeDee Lamb, who’s the second-highest-paid wide receiver.
Prescott enjoyed a career year last year, throwing for over 4,500 yards and 36 touchdowns.
As Brady noted, the veteran’s biggest test will come in the playoffs.
The Cowboys haven’t reached an NFC championship game since 1995 – the last time the franchise won a Super Bowl.

Burkhardt gave Brady the proper introduction to the NFL game.
“We say welcome to the broadcast booth,” Burkhardt said.
“He’s Tom Brady, and I’m Kevin Burkhardt.
“And you’re a broadcaster, how about that?”
Brady replied, “We’re here. It’s been quite a journey, but I love being your partner.”
