Medical staff from Baltimore’s team rushed to the chain gang operator’s side during the second quarter of the NFL clash.
Fans watched with hopeful hearts as the staff member was given CPR in dramatic scenes.
And players took a knee as they prayed for the person’s well-being.
The man was then taken away from the field after several minutes and driven to hospital, where it was later confirmed he was “alert and responsive.”
A statement from the Ravens read: “A member of the chain gang crew collapsed.
“He was immediately attended to by medical personnel.
“Upon leaving the field, he was alert and responsive.
“He’s being taken to a local hospital.”
Fans sent their best wishes and prayers to the crew member on social media afterwards.
One said: “Prayers. Unfortunate it happened but glad it was at a time he was surrounded by emergency personnel.”
Another declared: “Learn CPR. You may save someone you love or someone you know’s life.”
One noted: “Great response from the professionals.”
Another added: “Keep up the prayers. human life is much more important than the game.”
Unfortunately for the Ravens, they lost the match in overtime.
Raiders secured a 26-23 victory, meaning the Ravens have now recorded back-to-back defeats.
They lost their first match of the season 27-20 to the Kansas City Chiefs.
And the Ravens will be hoping to avoid three losses on the bounce when they visit the Dallas Cowboys next week.
