King Charles is celebrating his birthday week by hobnobbing with celebrities, attending a red carpet premiere, and opening food distribution hubs as a part of his Coronation Food Project. He also received birthday wishes on social media from the Royal Family Instagram account, as well as from his son Prince William and Kate Middleton who shared a cheeky photo on Instagram to commemorate the royal’s big day. Noticeably missing from the tributes, however, was his other son Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle.

So why hasn’t Harry returned the favor with a 76th birthday tribute to his father? Well, for starters, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle no longer have a joint social media account, or individual pages for that matter. While, Markle’s forthcoming lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, has a website and an Instagram account, Harry and Meghan’s foundation Archewell has a website, and the couple share a website from the desk of Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, they have yet to post about Charles’s birthday. It is still unclear if Harry and Meghan privately called the king to wish him a happy birthday, however, the Sussexes phoned the king last year with their two kids, Archie and Lilibet, according to Express.

There has been no shortage of drama between Harry and his family in recent years, and while it appeared that Charles and his youngest son had been making headway in their relationship, more recent reports have claimed that the two are no longer speaking. Harry last saw his father in February after King Charles announced his cancer diagnosis.

When Harry celebrated his 40th birthday in September, however, King Charles and Prince William both acknowledged his day with a social media tributes. Middleton even celebrated brother-in-law’s milestone day with a phone call, a source told Express.
