The long-awaited and recently rumored sequel to “The Devil Wears Prada” is finally getting the go-ahead, according to several published reports.

And New Jersey’s Anne Hathaway is reportedly in talks to reprise her role as Andy Sachs, the aspiring journalist who navigated the cutthroat world of high fashion under the demanding Miranda Priestly.

Entertainment Weekly was the first to report Hathaway, Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci are in talks to reprise their roles from the 2006 hit.

The Brooklyn-born, Oscar-winning actress spent most of her childhood living in Millburn, New Jersey, where she attended high school.

Rumors about a sequel have circulated for years, but Hathaway has been non-committal about it.

The new movie is reportedly to focus on Streep’s character, Miranda Priestly dealing with the decline of her fashion magazine and facing off with Blunt’s Emily Charlton, the foil to Hathaway’s character.

The sequel has not been officially confirmed by Disney.
