Bridgerton Season 3 New Cast & Returning Character Guide, Explained

Bridgerton-season-3-Hannah-Dodd-Ruth-Gemmell-Bessie-CarterThe third season of Bridgerton is finally upon us, and it could not be more exciting to see the Bridgerton siblings and the ton once again, as season 3 continues the stories of fan-favorite characters, while also introducing entirely new faces to the cast.Bridgerton season 3 is based on the fourth novel in Julia Quinn’s “Bridgerton” book series, “Romancing Mister Bridgerton,” and follows Penelope Featherington as she decides to find a husband this courting season, and along the way, enlists the help of her long-time crush, Colin Bridgerton. The first part of Bridgerton season 3 premieres on May 16.

By now, Bridgerton has a cast that is full of familiar, fan-favorite actors. Characters like Lady Danbury and Queen Charlotte remain pillars of the third season, while the Bridgerton family remains mostly intact, besides Phoebe Dynevor’s Daphne, who has exited for Bridgerton season 3. Most excitingly though, the third installment of Netflix’s period romance show introduces a handful of new characters who bring a fresh and exciting view to Bridgerton. All in all, this cast is very similar to the first two seasons of Bridgerton, but is undoubtedly able to bring yet another amazing season of television to our doorsteps.
