Joseph Quinn may have not been a part of the Harry Potter cast, but he is definitely ‘the boy who lived’. What was supposed to be a momentary yet monumental role in Stranger Things made Quinn what Robert Pattinson was to the much revered J. K. Rowling franchise. The difference being, the fact that the former is currently ongoing, and the hopes of seeing Quinn are in full throttle. On the other hand, the actor seems to have more fantastic things to offer.
As Stranger Things sits on a mountain of delayed dates, Joseph Quinn is busy promoting A Quiet Place: Day One. And while he has no breadcrumbs to offer his Stranger Things fans, he was pretty elated about The Fantastic Four script.
Joseph Quinn could not be any more pumped for The Fantastic Four
One of the many attributes that made fans declare that they had found a gem in Joseph Quinn was the passion he displayed towards his craft. The same light in his eyes was evidenced while he was promoting A Quiet Place: Day One and was asked about the long-awaited The Fantastic Four. Speaking to the Phase Zero podcast, the actor said, “we are going for it.“
Quinn started off by emphasizing how amazing the script was before anything else. This statement in itself turned out to be a huge ringer for Marvel fans who have been starved for a while. The Stranger Things actor also praised Matt Shakman and counted him as one of the reasons behind why The Fantastic Four is worth the wait.
While Joseph Quinn was more than convincing with The Fantastic Four teases, the grass is not as green for his devoted Stranger Things fanbase.
Stranger Things fanbase struggles in the dark
For a show that never ceases to amaze owing to its 90s references, cast, and plot line, the last season of Stranger Things Season 5 has been unraveling to be quite a disappointment. Even before the show hits the road, there have been quite a lot of hoos and haas regarding whether Eddie Munson will be returning and, of course, the growing age of the cast.
While Joseph Quinn has playfully skipped around the bush regarding whether or not he will be appearing in the final season, a section of the fanbase is convinced that he will make a comeback in some form or the other. As for the concern regarding the cast’s age, things are only getting worse following an anonymous threat on set.
