The Walking Dead franchise, ironically, will never die.

The Walking Dead franchise, much like the undead in the title, refuses to die. There are multiple spin-offs already in the works, with The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon season two set to join them in the coming months. When will the second season of Daryl Dixon’s solo adventures in Europe come out? We take a look at what we know so far.

If you watched The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live finale and still need more zombie action, we have some good news. The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon season two, subtitled The Book of Carol, is coming to AMC and AMC+ in summer 2024. However, we don’t have a specific release date for the show just yet but expect to find out within the next few weeks as we get further into the summer season.

As the subtitle implies, one of the big changes in the second season of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon is the return of Melissa McBride as Carol. She made a brief appearance in the final episode of season one but will be part of the main cast in season two. Her absence from the previous season was due to scheduling conflicts with McBride; thankfully those seem to have been cleared up and she is free and clear to be a big part of the show going forward.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon season two is due out in the summer of 2024, but it won’t be the end of Daryl’s story. A third season is already in development for release at AMC and AMC+.
