Netflix has yet to renew the legal drama for a fourth season.
The Lincoln Lawyer is driving back to Netflix. Manuel Garcia-Rulfo returns this week as Mickey Haller, the legal whiz who runs his business from the back seat of his Lincoln. Season 3 of The Lincoln Lawyer finds him in yet another high-stakes court case, as he seeks justice for the murder of a close friend. Bui in Haller’s world, you never know who is innocent or guilty.
In season 3, as executive producers Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez told Netflix, “We see Mickey struggling with so many things at the same time—with romance, with the wives, with the cases. You never expect what’s going to happen.”
So far, The Lincoln Lawyer has touched only three of Michael Connelly’s Lincoln Lawyer novels. There’s still plenty of material to work from, including The Reversal, The Law Of Innocence, and his latest, Resurrection Walk. Season 3 tackles The Gods of Guilt, in which Haller defends both a living and a deceased former client. That novel is also famous for connecting two of Connelly’s most popular characters: Haller and Bosch. Yes! You read that correctly. Mickey’s half brother is Harry Bosch. Sadly, the Amazon Prime Video series lead likely won’t appear on the Netflix series.

How Do I Watch The Lincoln Lawyer Season 3?

Has The Lincoln Lawyer Been Renewed for Season 4?
As of the season 3 premiere, Netflix has yet to renew the legal series. It was picked up for a third season the same month that season 2 premiered in 2023, so hopefully good numbers will earn Mickey Haller the chance to keep bringing Connelly’s long-running series of novels to life. In The Reversal, Haller’s downward spiral even sees him take on the role of prosecutor for a change. Now, that I have to see.
