The Cleveland Browns ran out of luck when facing the Dallas Cowboys on September 8th. This was further proven when the Wide Receiver ran into an unfortunate injury after scoring a touchdown. There was only one touchdown from the Browns’ before the beginning of the fourth quarter and it was scored at the hands of Jerry Jeudy.
The WR played a big role in scoring it, but fate had other plans for him. After successfully rallying his team and saving it from a much more humiliating defeat, Jeudy had to visit medical personnel to care for his health.
Jerry Jeudy was spotted entering the blue tent as per one of the ESPN reporters who covers the CB. On X, he reported that Jeudy entered the medical tent, and his injury was tended to. There is no specific information about the injury yet, but the reporter claimed, “an athletic trainer is working on his leg.”
When this happened, the moment wasn’t highlighted on live TV, so there wasn’t much room to see how the injury took place. It is likely that it happened after Jeudy scored the touchdown, otherwise, the team would have pulled him out of the field earlier, never giving him the chance to score those points in the first place.
The injury wasn’t as serious as you may have thought when first coming across it. On the contrary, after a good therapy to the legs and a little rest, Jeudy was back on his feet again. Although there have been serious injuries the same day to other athletes, Jerry is back in his element.
Jerry Jeudy will be there for the next match
The Browns lost to The Cowboys with a disappointing score of 17-33. While there were worse scores in some games on the same day, the fans would have wanted to win against the former multiple-time Super Bowl winners. If Jeudy is on the team, there may be a chance for the team to score more. The Cowboys’ defense may have been impenetrable for the Browns; they may be able to get past the defenses of their future opponents. And now that Jeudy has been confirmed not to have suffered anything severe, there is still hope for the team before the 2024 playoffs end.
Shortly after the ESPN reporter, Daniel Oyefusi, revealed that Jerry Jeudy was getting his leg treated in the blue camp, he also cleared out that the latter had been released from medical supervision. Not just that, but the wide receiver for the Cleveland Browns was ready to take on the Cowboys’ ruthless defense once again. Much to their upset, he couldn’t get the right opportunity to score again for his team. However, we will take something positive out of this news and hope that Jerry will register some more touchdowns under his name in the coming games.
Now that Jerry is back for more action, do you think something might change for the team in the near future?
