Bridgerton season 1 depicts Daphne’s marriage to Simon Basset, while season 2 revolves around Anthony’s love story with Kate Sharma and season 3 is about Colin and Penelope’s slow-burn romance. As a result, the remaining Bridgerton siblings who have yet to have their tales told on the screen are Benedict, Eloise, Francesca, Hyacinth, and Gregory. The subject of season 4 is still a mystery (and can be narrowed down to three contenders). However, I’m inclined to believe that Bridgerton season 7 will be all about Hyacinth, and the show is already setting up her story.
Bridgerton Season 3 Makes Hyacinth Feel Like A Proper Character
Hyacinth Had More Screen Time In Season 3

Hyacinth (along with Gregory, if I’m being honest) has been regulated to just being a background character since Bridgerton premiered in 2020. However, Hyacinth’s lack of screen time drastically changed in season 3 as she was included in many more scenes. Of course, the series still didn’t give her any of her own major plotlines as she is the youngest Bridgerton sibling. Given her age, it will be a long time before Hyacinth makes her debut to society. Nevertheless, Florence Hunt’s character got more lines and undoubtedly had a bigger presence in season 3.
Bridgerton has to adapt Benedict’s, Eloise’s, and Francesca’s tales before the writers can focus on Hyacinth.
By Bridgerton season 3’s ending, the audience, including myself, had a better idea of Hyacinth’s personality and who she is as a character. Unlike a couple of her siblings, Hyacinth seems eager to enter society and engage in a whirlwind romance. She evidently can’t wait until it’s her turn to fall in love and get married. Unfortunately, that likely won’t happen until Bridgerton season 7. But, in the meantime, the show can continue laying the groundwork for Hyacinth’s future romance and developing her character.
Hyacinth’s Story Won’t Happen Until Bridgerton Season 7
The Seventh Bridgerton Book Revolves Around Hyacinth

As mentioned above, Hyacinth is still too young to have her story told in the Netflix historical romance series. In season 3, she was only 12. Plus, Bridgerton has to adapt Benedict’s, Eloise’s, and Francesca’s tales before the writers can focus on Hyacinth. The show has skipped around in the book order before (it jumped over Benedict’s, the third novel in the series, to Colin’s, the fourth book, in season 3). However, it’s unlikely that Hyacinth, whose romance is chronicled in book seven, It’s In His Kiss, will precede Benedict, Eloise, and Francesca in Bridgerton.

Unfortunately, given the established two-year break between each season, Bridgerton season 7 might not arrive until 2032. Hopefully, Netflix will have figured out how to speed up the release of the show’s new seasons by then. But in the case that Bridgerton sticks to its two-year hiatuses (and continues to get renewed), fans will likely have to wait until 2032 for Hyacinth’s story in season 7.
What Happens To Hyacinth In The Bridgerton Books
Who Does Hyacinth Marry?

Hyacinth’s romance unravels in the seventh Bridgerton book, It’s In His Kiss, which depicts her relationship with Gareth St. Clair, who just so happens to be Lady Danbury’s grandson. Hyacinth and Gareth’s dynamic is formed out of necessity (at first). Gareth needs Hyacinth’s help translating his family’s diary because it’s written in Italian. He believes the diary holds the key to his future, and in the process of their exciting adventure, Hyacinth and Gareth fall in love. Even though Hyacinth’s novel won’t be adapted for many years, Bridgerton is already preparing to tell her story, making the payoff all the more satisfying.
