And a squire carrying it in the game would be much more fun.

A squire is to a Brotherhood of Steel as Alfred is to Batman. However, the butler in the latter case is smart. American video game designer Todd Howard would like to borrow an idea for Fallout 5, a game that is nowhere to be seen for the release. Some even envision that they’ll get to see it in 2033.

The TV show, according to Bethesda Game Studios’ director, who also happens to be one of the executive producers of the series, gives creative freedom. It doesn’t want to look like a copy of the video games. However, he is likely to bring some elements from the show to the next mainline game.

That’s Something Tiger Woods Would Do if He Wrote Characters

Fallout gets several things right as far as its resemblance to the game is concerned. From small settlements to Vault-Tec, gamers will almost feel at home while watching it. Now it’s time for the future games in the series to bear resemblance to the show. There are aspects Todd Howard wants to borrow from the American TV series for the fifth mainline game.

In one recent interview, he said that,

The thing I definitely want to borrow is I love the solve for how all of these weapons are carried around with the giant golf bag. So if I had a wish, you’d see that in the game, like 76, really soon.

One of the interesting things to watch out for in the latest TV show is squires carrying large golf bags. But here’s the catch: they aren’t carrying the clubs, but weapons. Netizens too are buzzing about the fact.

It’s not just the franchise’s fans, but golf enthusiasts too, who were allured by the funny fact. A conversation regarding the brand of that bag must be among the best things on the internet.

Watching the new Fallout series. Anyone know the brand of this golf bag?

Fans are hoping it’s Parsons Xtreme Golf (PXG), an Arizona-based sports equipment manufacturing company.

Todd Howard’s Show Has Already ‘Borrowed’ a Lot From Games

Fans who’ve already watched the series might have found tons of Easter eggs from the game sitting right in plain sight. For starters, there’s the Vault Boy thumbs up, which can be used to measure the ‘mushroom‘ during a nuclear attack. Moreover, Vault 33 from the games Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 is pretty accurate in the show.

Equipment like PipBoy too made it to the series, which is a hand-mounted computer fully kitted with features including biostatus monitoring, map exploration, flashlight illumination, and more. Apart from this, many songs featured in the video games were also used in the show.

The next Fallout game is still a long way out, as Bethesda Game Studios has confirmed Elder Scrolls 6 will be released first. The action-role-playing game is projected to be released in early 2026. That makes the next mainline game in the post-apocalyptic franchise at least a couple of years away.
