‘THE MOST TOXIC RUN EVER’: GAMER BEATS BALDURβS GATE 3 USING ONLY GAME’S WORST DAMAGE TYPE IN HORRIFIC EXPLOIT RUN
OVER 190 ENEMIES ARE FULLY IMMUNE. NO ELEMENTAL ADEPT FEAT EXISTS. NO FIRE, NO BLUDGEONING, NO HYBRID DAMAGE ALLOWED. π§ͺβ οΈ
The Baldur’s Gate 3 community is officially losing its mind after a total psychopath just completed an Honour Mode run using exclusively POISON DAMAGEβthe single worst, most heavily resisted damage type in the entire game…
Wait until you see the horrific, 4-hour necromancy exploit he had to pull off to force the game’s final boss to die! Did he just achieve the ultimate gaming miracle or commit the most toxic crimes in FaerΓ»n history? π±π₯
Uncover the forbidden “Green Magic” run that’s blowing up the internet right now: ππ₯

A daring Baldurβs Gate 3 player has achieved what mainstream gamers considered mathematically impossible: beating Larian Studiosβ ruthless RPG using exclusively Poison damageβa damage type so notoriously useless that over 190 unique enemies in the game possess absolute 100% immunity to it.
The viral feat, chronicled by top-tier challenge runner Proxy Gate Tactician in his hit YouTube feature βCan You Beat Baldur’s Gate 3 Using ONLY Poison Damage?β, has sparked absolute hysteria across the gaming community after forcing the creator to execute a series of horrific exploits, double-crosses, and a four-hour zombie army ritual just to survive.
THE ‘POISON ONLY’ NIGHTMARE: WHY IT SHOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE
In Baldurβs Gate 3, Poison is widely recognized as the single worst element in the game. While popular damage types like Fire only face 37 immune enemies, Poison is completely negated by nearly 200 foesβincluding almost every Undead, Construct, Shadow, and major boss in the game.
To make matters worse, Larian Studios included no Elemental Adept: Poison feat, meaning players cannot bypass elemental resistance through normal progression.

The self-imposed rules were uncompromising:
Zero Non-Poison Damage: No weapons dealing Bludgeoning, Piercing, or Slashing damage.
Zero Damage Riders: No extra Fire, Acid, or Necrotic riders on attacks.
No Throwing Objects: Throwing objects or bombs deals physical damage, which was strictly forbidden.
Only Pure Poison Spells & Abilities: Relying almost entirely on Poison Spray, Ray of Sickness, Chromatic Orb (Poison), and Cloudkill.
“Unlike most RPGs, in BG3 poison is trash,” Proxy explained at the start of his challenge. “You’re better off unarmed than using toxic magic.”
THE ACT 1 CHAOS: CASADOR IN A BOX & THE 47-MINUTE DOUBLE BETRAYAL
Playing as a Green Dragonborn Sorcerer named Ivy, Proxyβs team had to rely on extreme glitch tactics from the very beginning.
In Act 1, the player utilized a bizarre frame-cancellation bug to kidnap the Act 3 vampire lord Cazador Szarr out of a secret developer asylum box, dragging him onto the sunlit beach to burn him aliveβall just to pickpocket his legendary staff Woe at Level 3.

[ NPC PREPARATION ] [ REVIVAL LOOP ]
- Collect corpses of dead allies - Use Bitter Divorce wand
- Store in inventory until Act 2 - Revive target + Connor Vinderblad
- Transport to Mind Flayer Colony - Reload game to fix allied AI status
- Heal zombies using broken health potions
The toxicity reached new heights during the Goblin Camp raid. After alerting Minthara to the location of the Emerald Grove, Proxy pulled off a legendary “Reverse Uno” double betrayal: he trapped Tiefling leader Zevlor in a pocket dimension using kidnapping mechanics, then spent 47 painful minutes spraying poison into the eyes of his goblin allies to wipe them out while preserving Zevlorβs life.
THE MYRKUL BOTTLENECK: THE 4-HOUR ‘CONGORMANCY’ ZOMBIE ARMY
The challenge hit a dead stop in Act 2 at the hands of Ketheric Thorm and the Apostle of Myrkul. Both mandatory bosses are completely 100% immune to Poison damage, meaning a solo poison user deals exactly 0 damageβrendering the entire challenge mathematically impossible through standard play.
Faced with total defeat, Proxy unveiled the most absurd workaround in Baldurβs Gate 3 history: Congormancy.
Throughout Acts 1 and 2, Proxy collected the physical corpses of every NPC he betrayedβincluding Harpers, Tieflings, Goblins, and Iron Hand Gnomes like Wulbren Bongle.
Using Bitter Divorce (the necromancy wand tied to Connor Vinderblad), he glitched the game into reviving both Connor and the dead NPCs inside the Mind Flayer Colony.
Because the game reloaded their original “green ally” status, Proxy created a makeshift, uncontrolled zombie horde of roughly 50 revived NPCs.
Armed with Karabasan’s Gift poison dropped at Ketheric’s feet to perma-stun his human form, Proxy sat back and watched his 50 zombie allies beat the god of death to death over four exhausting hours.
“Full transparency, I didn’t test this idea in advance,” Proxy admitted. “It took several hours of saving and reloading just to get all of these guys alive… but Harper Shenti claimed glory and delivered the final blow.”
ACT 3: AOE POISON NUKES AND THE FINAL BRAIN SLAY
By Act 3, reaching Level 9 unlocked Cloudkill, allowing the party to finally deal massive Area-of-Effect poison damage.
Proxy trivialized major encounters using high-tier gear and exploits:
Cazador’s Mansion: Eradicated by stacking Cloudkill in narrow doorways while using the Ring of Poison Resistance Bypass (from Moonrise) to force Poison Vulnerability onto the boss.
Enver Gortash: Defeated using a Water Myrmidon summoned via Wizard multi-classing. By feeding the elemental rotten food to poison it, its AoE healing burst inverted into a toxic poison nuke, trapping Gortash against upper-floor furniture.
Orin the Red: Choked out inside her own temple as Cloudkill suffocated her cultists while Proxy misty-stepped around the altar.
During the final confrontation against the Netherbrain in Honour Modeβwhere bosses gain immunity to repeated damage types across consecutive turnsβProxy utilized Haste Spores and burst casts to green-out the brainβs remaining health pool, securing a official victory.
COMMUNITY REACTS: “GENIUS OR TOTAL madness?”
The release of Proxy’s video caused an immediate sensation across X, Reddit, and Discord, drawing praise and horror in equal measure.
On the r/BaldursGate3 subreddit, players marveled at the sheer persistence required to bypass the game’s strict damage immunities.
“The fact that someone spent 4 hours reviving 50 corpses with a bugged wand just to beat Ketheric Thorm because Poison damage literally doesn’t work is the most dedicated act of gaming insanity I’ve ever seen,” wrote one top Reddit commenter.
Over on X, gaming analysts highlighted how Larian Studiosβ sandbox design allows players to find solutions even when facing total mechanical brick walls.
“This run proves why Baldur’s Gate 3 is a masterpiece,” a user tweeted. “Even when an entire playstyle is mathematically hard-countered by 190+ immune enemies, the game’s physics, inventory systems, and AI rules let you invent your own necromancy loop to win.”
Despite the victory, the run ended in fittingly tragic fashion. Due to the absurd sequence breaks, every companion received horrific “bad endings”: Lae’zel was executed by her queen, Astarion ended up bald, and the main hero was driven mad by the Netherbrain.
As Proxy concluded: “Every one of us got the bad endings we deserved for our toxic behaviorβand another successful challenge wraps up!”
