The Boys is a show in which an episode doesn’t go by without your jaw hitting the ground. It’s kinda part of the parcel. Pretty much every single episode has a moment that leaves you speechless on how it managed to make its way out of the editing room. Whether it be mindblowingly gory or just utterly repugnant and depraved, you know full well The Boys has some of the most disgusting moments on TV. With season four well on its way to becoming the most jaw dropping season yet, I thought now might be as apt a time as ever to get ranked the most disgusting moments from The Boys of all time.

The moments where you literally can’t believe you’re witnessing them. The moments you hope and pray your flatmates – or GOD FORBID, your mother – don’t walk into the room and ask what you’re watching.

9. The whale death

This one actually makes me so sad. The Deep gets tasked by Homelander to attack and wipe out the Boys. He sends some sharks to intercept the Boys whilst they’re on a speedboat, but it flops and so Deep emerges from the water riding a massive whale. Butcher against all odds and common sense speeds up and rams right through the middle of the whale. HARROWING.

8. Deep’s octopus dalliances

Whether he’s being forced to eat his mate octopus or engaging in bestiality with the one voiced by Tilda Swinton, anything to do with Deep and the octopi in his life is all kinds of unwatchably disturbing.

7. THAT crazy Splinter rimming moment

I’m so sorry for even posting this little still of it. The way this is the most demure way I could even bring a visual to the situation without getting this publication blacklisted. For those unaware, Splinter is a supe who can split himself into multiple versions. Kimiko and Frenchie find him masturbating and splintered into a group doing a Human Centipede-esque batch of rimming. Anyway.

6. Homelander forcing the girl to take her own life

Homelander does a lot of evil, but when he’s sent up to save a girl who’s about to jump to her death he does so with noble intent until he learns about what’s happened to Stormfront. He then threatens the girl he’s meant to be saving, and when she says she doesn’t want to take her own life anymore he threatens her with his laser eyes til she kills herself. Horrifying.

5. The Sister Sage lobotomy

Sister Sage is an original character created for series four of The Boys who was never in the comics. Her power is that she’s the most intelligent being in the world. That, and she can regenerate her brain. So, she likes to give herself a lobotomy so she can dumb herself down for a few hours. Blurgh. Watching the Deep give her one was so uncomfortable. The scraping…

3. The Flight 37 saga

This all goes down very early in The Boys, and it’s kind of the moment where you realise the true threat and danger of Homelander and just how corrupt the Seven are. It’s a harrowing sequence of moral horror and trauma and it still rattles me to watch it to this day.

2. Termite in the d*ck

One of the most mind-blowing things I have ever EVER seen on The Boys and one of the most disgusting moments ever is when Termite does some coke, makes himself tiny and then climbs into the uretha of a fella and pleasures him from inside the pipes of his penis. He then sneezes, turns back to his regular size and decimates his lover in the process. I think what makes this extra harrowing is the intrigue of the sex at first that then turns to horror. Like, if you were watching it and not wondering how that pipe stroking might feel you’re just lying sorry!

1. Everything that went down in Tek Knight’s ‘Tek Cave’

Tek Knight is The Boys’ answer to Batman, only utterly depraved. A morally blank billionaire with a Tek Cave, which turns out to be a sex dungeon. He sexually assaults people here and everything he puts a disguised Hughie through whilst down there pushes the limit of actually what I can sit through watching The Boys. It was utterly disturbing and perverse and the fact Tek Knight was going to carve his own holes out of Hughie to have sex with was honestly my limit with this show. He got what was coming to him but fuck me, it was a hard watch
