Various people on TikTok have been sharing where they’ve seen the cast of Bridgerton before, and one piece of TV nostalgia is blowing people’s minds.

Phoebe Dynevor, known for playing the role of Daphne Bridgerton in the Netflix smash, starred in Waterloo Road back in her younger days, and people can’t believe it. Whether they didn’t watch the show – or have simply forgotten she was in the popular drama – it’s left many people totally perplexed.

You may not remember, but Phoebe actually began her career as a child actress in the BBC One school drama having appeared on the show between 2009 and 2010. Following her debut, she went on to land roles in the BBC series Prisoners’ Wives (2012–2013) and Dickensian (2015–2016).

Some people may also remember her for taking on a main role in Crackle crime series Snatch (2017–2018). In other words, there are a few reasons why she may look familiar.

When she starred in Waterloo Road she played the role of Siobhan Mailey in the fifth series of the drama. It may seem like a long time ago, but it’s a show many people hold fond memories of watching.

Since videos emerged of a young Phoebe online, people have been left in shock. They can’t get over how far the actress has come in the past few years.

One person said: “Oh my God – what?” Another wrote: “The duke was in Waterloo Road too. I’ve found this hilarious since.”

A third replied: “Daphne looks very different.” Meanwhile, a fourth also commented: “Wait what?”

Even though Phoebe did not appear in the latest series of Bridgerton, the door has been left open for her character’s return. The actress also has a number of other exciting projects lined up.

She’s set to star in the Sony Pictures thriller film I Heart Murder, which is directed by Matt Spicer. As well as this, she’s also taking on the role of executive producer and starring in a film adaptation of the Jonathan Stroud novel, The Outlaws Scarlett and Browne.

A television adaptation of Naoise Dolan’s novel Exciting Times for Amazon Prime is also coming our way, with Phoebe landing a role in the show. In other words, we can expect to see her a lot more of her in the future.

Meanwhile, her famous mum, Sally Dynevor, is still proudly playing the role of Sally Webster in Coronation Street.
