Kaos is Netflix’s latest comedy-drama series that is set to shake things up and fill the gap left by the beloved unhinged drama, The Boys.

The Boys was a bizarre Amazon Prime series that stole our hearts with weird and wonderful shock moments.

This included an Oscar-winning legend playing an octopus who has sex with people, a graphic human centipede-inspired sex scene, and a messed up use of a baby leg where it certainly shouldn’t have been.

The series came to an end in an epic end in the season finale on July 18, and left fans bereft and frustrated that they’d have to wait a few more years to see how the bizarre series comes to a close.

But fans need not worry, as Netflix has just announced the release of an equally ‘unhinged’ show that is set to fill this gap perfectly.

Netflix announced the release of a series called Kaos, starring Jeff Goldblum as Zeus, Harry Potter star David Thewlis as Hades, and Janet McTeer as Hera.

‘Jeff Goldblum reigns as Zeus in an epic (and unhinged) struggle between gods, humans and everything in between. KAOS is coming August 29,’ read a post from Netflix releasing the trailer.

The official synopsis of the series reads: ‘Zeus has long enjoyed his status as King of The Gods. That is until he wakes up one morning and discovers a wrinkle on his forehead. Neurosis sets in, setting him off on a dangerous, paranoid path.’

Fans were quick to notice that the series had a similar feel to The Boys and took to social media to share their interest in the series.

‘So basically “The Boys” but about Gods? I’m in!’ said GGG08.

‘The Boys but with Greek Gods instead of superheroes,’ said Repossessedurass.

Memrlord3X-41D commented: ‘This is essentially if American gods and the boys did a fusion dance.’

‘Amazon Prime Has the Boys Netflix has the KAOS,’ commented Arshad_Imran.

The series has come just in time for fans as it was revealed last month that The Boys would be coming to a close after season five.

Eric Kripke, the show creator, took to X to reveal: ‘#TheBoys Season 4 Premiere Week is a good time to announce: Season 5 will be the Final Season!

‘Always my plan, I just had to be cagey till I got the final OK from Vought. Thrilled to bring the story to a gory, epic, moist climax.’

So thankfully there is another epic series to take its place!

Some commenters said that while the trailer looked good, they’d watch anything that had the Jurassic Park star in.

‘Even if this was just a show about watching Jeff Goldblum mowing his yard, I would watch it,’ said Lordmatthews.

‘Honestly, I’ll watch anything with Jeff in it,’ said Greapes.
