Now, TVLine has released new photos from Outlander season 7 part 2, revealing what to expect from Jamie and Claire in the upcoming episodes. The photos reveal more of the season is still set within Scotland during the Revolutionary War, while Brianna can be seen in the 1970s speaking with the police. Check out the new images of the upcoming episodes below:
What Will Happen To Claire & Jamie In Outlander Season 7 Part 2?
Claire and Jamie’s relationship has been in a rocky position within season 7, as the latter has been putting his life on the line as a rifleman during the American Revolution. While the family has managed to spend some time together, with a trip to Scotland being one important element, they haven’t managed to fully embrace themselves like they have before due to the historical time period. However, the two still love each other despite these setbacks, having hope they’ll be alright despite the position they’re trapped in.
Based on the images above, however, it seems the duo are fully intent on getting out of their current scenario alive, even if it means facing down fate itself. Their interactions with other characters like Ian and Lord John indicate they might be separated for some time in season 7 part 2, making moves to push the story along in the process. In the meantime, Brianna speaking to police seems to be about her son getting kidnapped, though it’s unclear what her role is going to become when the series finally continues.
With plenty more elements from the book series yet to be adapted to screen, it seems the show will be hurtling toward its end, which will happen in Outlander season 8. For now, though, the couple still need to get through their war, which is likely to prove a difficult task as their lives continue to grow more complex. However, with many twists and turns in the story yet to unfold, there could be any number of obstacles to the pair reaching the happy ending they desire.
