It's Official: 'Deadpool & Wolverine' Sets Franchise Record for Number of F-Bombs Dropped

The highly awaited film of the year for many fans, Deadpool & Wolverine, starring Hugh Jackman as Wolverine and Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, is finally out, as the fans will know. The movie brings these two legendary characters together at last, a moment that many had been waiting a long time to witness.

Since the film has finally been released and appears to be performing well, people are highly curious about anything they can find out about it. One of the things they wanted to know, in light of the fact that the MCU finally entered the R-rating, was how many F-bombs the movie would drop, knowing that Deadpool is not the politest of characters.

In light of that, we can confirm that the numbers are in and, as you might have assumed already, Deadpool & Wolverine has broken the old franchise record of 90 F-bombs and has set a new one, which is significantly higher than the previous one.

As you might have assumed, the fans were definitely going to count the F-bombs in the Deadpool & Wolverine movie and while we knew that the previous franchise record was 90 F-bombs dropped in one movie, Deadpool 3 set a new record of 118 F-bombs, as has been confirmed via Twitter:

It is, ultimately, up to you to decide whether the F-bombs in this movie were incorporated well or not but, to be frank, these numbers don’t really surprise us. Deadpool & Wolverine is a massive event and boundary-breaking work for the MCU, so we did not have any doubts that the producers and the writers would give it their all and go all out for this movie, and they duly delivered.

As stated, this was actually expected, and no one is really surprised that it happened; in all honesty, we would’ve been surprised if the record had not been broken. The movie in question is currently in cinemas around the world, so you can go and see it and confirm this number for yourselves.

In case you don’t know, the movie serves as a way of introducing the X-Men to the MCU, although a proper debut is expected later. It also serves as a way of expanding the MCU Multiverse, as characters previously owned by Fox have finally appeared in the MCU after Disney acquired the company some time ago.
