Fallout 76 arguably has the best Vault Suits in the entire franchise but players wanting to look a little more like the Dwellers of Vault 33 are in luck because a new mod adds an authentic recreation of their outfits. Adventuring across the Appalachian Wasteland is no easy feat so it’s helpful to have a good set of armor covering one’s back in the event that the Scorched or a Feral Ghoul leaps out of nowhere. While the Vault Suit may not be the most effective shield against enemies, it’s undeniably a stylish post-apocalyptic outfit,

Posted to Nexus Mods by creator SnakePlissken51, the “TV Vault Suit” tweaks the Vault Suits on offer in Fallout 76 to better resemble the outfits seen in Prime Video’s series, swapping out colors and detailing to make it look more accurate to the show. Notably, it replaces the gold trim with a standard yellow and they all feature a new type of collar as well as a larger number on the back and a golden zipper down the front. Additionally, users who install the mod can swap out the “76” on the rear with a “33” to roleplay as Lucy MacLean.

To make the mod even more tempting, SnakePlissken51 went one step further by adding a recolored version that changes the Vault Suit’s blue color with black, making the yellow trim really pop. For those fans of the streaming series who want to stick to Lucy MacLean’s aesthetic even closer, there’s even a light leather armor version that grants Dwellers additional pieces of armor like elbow pads and shin guards. It’s an impressive tweak, one that manages to maintain the look and feel of Fallout 76 while still introducing elements from Prime Video’s show.

It makes sense that many Fallout 76 players may want to emulate what they saw in the series given its popularity. The entire Fallout franchise is booming now as users flock to the games after becoming enamored with the show, and Fallout 76 is one of the most affected by this surge in the player base. After years of recovering from its rocky launch, the survival MMO has peaked in terms of the quality of its offered content and the number of people enjoying its world.

While Fallout 76 is the current poster child of the entire franchise, it’s not the only game in the series that’s experiencing an influx of fans. Fallout 4 has also seen thousands head to the Commonwealth, prompting Bethesda to release another “next-gen” update that managed to break the game and disable many of the community’s installed mods. While some creators have managed to fix these issues by releasing add-ons that disable the latest patch, it remains to be seen how Bethesda will address the game’s current buggy state.
