Looks like the royal world of Bridgerton could have a meta moment in the near future—if Sarah Ferguson gets her way. The Duchess revealed that she’s a huge fan of the Netflix show, and is “desperate” to make an appearance—even going so far as to ask her agent about getting cast.

“I’ve asked my agent to get me on Bridgerton! The set designs are incredible! I could be a long-lost friend for Penelope. I just have to be on Bridgerton,” she told Platinum Magazine, via The Daily Mail. “I’ve been asked to go on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Hundreds of times, and the answer is always no. I’m sure it’s lovely for lots of people but not for me!”

Would be wild to see a member of the royal family on Bridgerton, but it wouldn’t be the Duchess’s first rodeo. As a reminder, she played herself on Friends back in the 90s.<p><a href="https://www.amazon.com/dp/1335005528?tag=syn-yahoo-20&ascsubtag=%5Bartid%7C10049.a.61452500%5Bsrc%7Cyahoo-us" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" data-ylk="slk:Shop Now;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas" class="link ">Shop Now</a></p><p>I'll Be There for You: The One about Friends</p><p>amazon.com</p><p>$15.94</p>

In the book I’ll Be There for You: The One About Friends, writer Kelsey Miller explains that Sarah was actually “coaxed into the appearance by her daughters,” and it did wonders for her reputation (she wasn’t the most popular at the time). As Miller puts it, “At a time when Fergie-bashing had become a national pastime, Friends was a welcome relief.”

I mean, down to see Fergie on Bridgerton, but if a royal does make a cameo I am personally rooting for the living legend known as Prince Louis.
