Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton are continuing their world tour for Bridgerton with a stop in South America!

The co-stars got dressed up for the red carpet premiere on Monday (May 20) at the Municipal Theater in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

During a recent interview with Netflix’s social media team, Nicola talked about the pressure she felt to get the carriage scene right in season three.

The scene marks the first time that Colin and Penelope make love.

“The fans are horny little devils and they used to send us pictures of carriages constantly and carriages rocking,” she said. “So, this has to be both beautiful, touching, romantic and sexy, which is a lot of things.”

“In her mind after the kiss, it’s just she’s messed it up completely and she’s like, ‘He will never fancy me. He doesn’t fancy me. It’s embarrassing. I’m gonna move on,’” Nicola added. “There’s no part of her when he gets in that carriage that thinks anything like this is gonna happen.”
