Bridgerton Fans Riot Against the Most Underwhelming Character Introduction

Not knowing who’s going to be next to have their love story adapted into the show is part of the Bridgerton intrigue at this point. Ever since the show’s creators took a turn and left the order of Julia Quinn’s original novel series, fans have been wondering what else Netflix might want to change.

With season 3 focusing on the love story of Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington, fans don’t expect any other siblings to get as much attention. However, the newly-cast Francesca Bridgerton will have a moment or two for herself to get a proper introduction to the audience. Too bad the love story is already spoiled.

Although most viewers doubt that Francesca will be a major character in season 4, the show has already cast her first romantic interest. According to the books, Francesca marries in the very first year at the Marriage Fair and becomes the Countess of Kilmartin through her husband, John Stirling.

Of course, viewers familiar with the plot of Francesca’s novel expected to meet John in season 3 of Bridgerton, but hoped his introduction would be a nice surprise in part 1. However, the surprise was ruined by the round of interviews released as part of the promotion.

Victor Ali, who portrays John Stirling on the show, has not even been officially introduced via Bridgerton’s social media yet. The secrecy of his identity was completely ruined by the poor timing of the interview release. While most fans were disappointed by such an underwhelming introduction, they were far from surprised.

Because of the world tour with the first episode screening, as well as the early access sent to journalists and influencers, the Internet is already full of spoilers. Even though the show is very close to its official release, fans can’t afford to just surf social media for fear of seeing another spoiler.
