Netflix has done it again – this time with Bridgerton’s Benedict enjoying a ‘bisexual awakening’ in season three of the period drama which has sent fans into meltdown

Bridgerton fans have lost their minds over a ‘two-day long’ threesome in the latest season drop.

Viewers of the Netflix period drama watched Benedict Bridgerton embrace his bisexuality as he brought another man into his relationship with Lady Tilley Arnold. In part two of season three, fans watched in awe as the pair enjoyed dinner together, before Benedict was introduced to Tilley’s friend Paul Suarez.

Benedict and Paul had a moment of connection out on the balcony, before Benedict was being invited into bed with Paul and Tilley. What ensues is a passionate threesome, which sent fans wild as it lasted “two days”.

Taking to X to share their thoughts, one viewer said: “I’m here for Benedict’s bisexual awakening and him whoring around while the Bridgerton family faces distress and dilemma lmao.” Another added: “There are three things certain in life. death, taxes and Benedict Bridgerton invited for a threesome.”

Somebody else echoed: “2 days and 2 nights passed and Benedict STILL having a threesome…LIKE DAMN!!” But the scene was so drawn out that some fans began to find it “boring”, with one writing: “I was so damn tired of seeing Benedict having a threesome y’all so freaked out and its BORING.”

Another agreed: “This threesome is so random? What is this plot line?” And another social media user pointed out: “The timeline disconnect in this season of #Bridgerton is wild! If scenes are supposed to be concurrent this threesome has taken 2 days.”

It’s not the raciest scene in the new series, as Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton stripped off for a six-minute sex scene that had fans fawning over their characters, Penelope and Colin.

The pair were checking on each other regularly as Penelope lost her virginity, with her asking Colin to “tell me what to do” and Colin replying: “You could touch me.” He warned her that sex “may hurt” before the pair romped – and by the end, Penelope was asking: “Can we do it again?”

Nicola joked at one screening she is a “proud member” of the “perfect breasts community”, admitting: “It is hard, ‘cause I think women with my body type – women with perfect breasts – we do not see ourselves on-screen enough.
