Carrie Underwood is getting ready to take her career in a new direction. The country music superstar has signed on to become a judge on American Idol, the reality TV series that made her a household name in the U.S. in the first place. As she focuses largely on that upcoming role, the Grammy winner is not publicly talking about her next musical chapter, though she has recently made time to collaborate with a few other artists.

The country star returns to a number of Billboard charts this week alongside fellow country act Cody Johnson. The two teamed up to record “I’m Gonna Love You,” which has become a healthy and quick win on a number of tallies as it arrives. The song brings Underwood back to the highest of highs on several lists, and it helps the singer reach a special milestone on more than one ranking.

“I’m Gonna Love You” blasts in at No. 1 on the Country Digital Song Sales chart this week. The tune marks Underwood’s tenth leader on Billboard’s ranking of the bestselling tunes in the nation that are classified as country when it comes to genre.

The same cut is also new at No. 1 on the all-style Digital Song Sales list. Underwood doubles her total number of winners on that roster with her Johnson duet. Luminate reports that in its first full tracking frame, “I’m Gonna Love You” sold 8,800 copies across the country.

With two powerful figures attached to the tune, it’s no wonder that “I’m Gonna Love You” earns an early start on the Country Airplay chart as well. Known as one of the most competitive and important radio rankings, the Country Airplay list sees the Johnson/Underwood collaboration open at No. 21.

That’s an impressive starting point for the song, and “I’m Gonna Love You” is a notable win for Underwood once again. The American Idol winner has now sent 50 different tracks to the Country Airplay chart throughout her years as a leader in the field.

“I’m Gonna Love You” is also new to three other rankings, though it’s not a milestone placement on any of them for Underwood—though it definitely inches her closer to future landmarks. The single opens on the Hot 100 (No. 42), Country Streaming Songs (No. 23), and the Hot Country Songs (No. 13) lists.
