Blake Lively landed herself in hot water once again after Internet sleuths unearthed a series of interviews in which the ‘awful’ actress called trans people ‘trannies’.

The actress, 36, has made headlines in recent weeks over her ‘tone-deaf’ attitude while promoting her latest movie, rumors of on-set fighting with her coworkers, and resurfaced interviews that show her ‘belittling’ reporters.

And now she is under fire again for an old interview with Elle Magazine where she said she wants to have daughters or ‘trannies’ so she can hand down her shoe and handbag collection.

Blake – who is known for her liberal political beliefs and is married to Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds – was labeled ‘awful’ by commenters online.

She used the term again in a 2009 interview with Allure magazine, saying: ‘I feel like a tranny a lot of the time. I don’t know, I’m … large? They put me in six-inch heels and I tower over every man. I’ve got this long hair and lots of clothes and make-up on … I just feel really big a lot of the time, and I’m surrounded by a lot of tiny people. I feel like a man sometimes.’

And in a third example, she repeated the slur in an on-screen interview with her then-Gossip Girl co-star Leighton Meester.

An off-screen interviewer asked the pair if the rumors were true that they ‘didn’t get on.’

Blake replied: ‘If you read the gossip magazines, everybody is dating everyone, everybody hates everyone, everybody has had like tons of plastic surgery and they’re actually men and trannies. It’s just like: you don’t listen to the rumors.’

One social media user highlighted the original Elle magazine quote with the caption: ‘Sometimes I’ll be quietly going about my day and then I’ll remember the time Blake Lively said this to a journalist.’

One user replied: ‘I get what she was trying to say because someone better appreciate all that Vintage Versace she has. But she could have used different wording.’

A separate Reddit thread posted over the weekend accused Blake of dropping a ‘transphobic slur’ in a video clip which has since been deleted.

In the responses, a commenter wrote: ‘That’s awful!’

However, many users pointed out the word did not have the same derogatory connotations at the time and was used widely in popular culture.

One said: ‘I’m actually not mad at this at all. The word was thrown around a lot back in the day. If it was said today it would be problematic, but nothing is wrong with wishing for a trans child.’

Another wrote: ‘It was a different time. They used that word all the time on Sex and the City even in scenes starring actual trans people.’

Blake has been the center of a negative media campaign fueled by rumors of an on-set feud with Justin Baldoni, 40, – her co-star and director for her latest film It Ends With US.

She sparked more criticism from fans after she promoted her brands Betty Booze and Betty Buzz – along with her new hair-care brand Blake Brown, at the same time as the promotions for the movie – which focuses on domestic abuse.

Since then, many have returned the hair care products to Target stores.

Blake was also slammed for a resurfaced interview when a then-pregnant star responded sarcastically to a reporter who congratulated her on her ‘little bump.’

She fired back: ‘Congrats on your little bump.’

Reporter Kjersti Flaa, 51, told DailyMail.com that the quip ‘felt like a bullet’ because she is unable to get pregnant.
