Things are heating up on X (formerly known as Twitter) as users suspect Nicki Minaj of throwing shots at JT after the release of her recent album.

On Thursday, JT, formerly of City Girls, dropped her first solo album, “City Cinderella.” While the album garnered mixed reactions, many noticed that Nicki did not publicly support her friend’s debut. Adding fuel to the fire, it has been suggested that Nicki shaded JT during a Stationhead session.

“But you also have to question why a person would go from unliking you to loving you. Isn’t that odd? Well, you don’t say…” Nicki remarked.

Many believe Nicki was indirectly referring to JT. The City Girls had issues with Nicki before their rise to fame. Years ago, leaked footage showed Yung Miami and JT dissing Nicki and Cardi B. However, their feelings towards Nicki changed as they hoped to collaborate with her. Nicki mostly stayed silent about the record but eventually explained that the video was why she kept her distance from the duo.

Later, Nicki shared on X that she spoke with Yung Miami and JT to clear the air. This led to Nicki and JT appearing closer, with Nicki bringing JT out during one of her shows in April. It’s unclear if Nicki and JT are currently at odds, but fans believe the truth will come to light soon.
