While it’s hard to get seriously invested in the danger of Daryl’s scenes while imprisoned, it can still be fun watching him escape and seeing what sort of chaos he causes in the process. Considering he is one of the franchise’s flagship characters, it is extremely unlikely for a villain to capture Daryl and simply execute him, but the thrill comes from seeing what sort of plan he and his allies put together to earn his freedom.
