Megan Thee Stallion has been trending in the headlines after her now-deleted TikTok video with NBA star Torrey Craig posted on August 29, 2024.

While the clip grabbed a lot of attention on social media platforms, Blueface’s mother Karlissa Saffold responded in an Instagram live the same day, saying that the rapper will eventually tie the knot with Megan Thee Stallion instead of his former fiancée, Jaidyn Alexis. Saffold stated that Alexis will always be a part of their family and addressed Megan by saying:

“What we are learning is that Megan is going through what her life is going through, and she’s learning as she goes. And they’re both maturing right now and preparing themselves mentally for one another.”

Megan’s deleted TikTok clip featured her and Craig participating in a couple’s challenge where the former disclosed that Torrey was the first person to propose to her.

Blueface’s mother revealed that her son was linked to Megan Thee Stallion for a brief period

Also known as Johnathan Jamall Porter, Blueface appeared for an interview on the Jason Lee Show in October 2023. He shared that he was briefly hooked with Megan Thee Stallion after they met at a photoshoot in 2019. He said that they continued meeting each other on other occasions and while Blueface was questioned on if he “slept with Megan”, he replied:

“Jason, I didn’t say that. I might have got some head… a long time ago.”

In the same interview, Alexis stated that she did not know anything about Blueface’s link with Megan Thee Stallion and told him not to speak about her anymore. Blueface said in response that he speaks the truth when he is questioned about anything.

Saffold also admitted that her son was briefly linked to Megan, saying that the hookup was impossible if the Good Girls star did not like Blueface. She claimed that Megan likes Blueface and added:

“Did y’all see Coi Leray and Trippie Redd getting back together? Mhmm. Yeah, you did. Exactly. Exactly. Y’all said, ‘Coi don’t like him. Coi don’t like him.’ Now they back together. That’s gon’ be Megan and Blue, just like I said.”

Megan has been selected to host the MTV Video Music Awards. This is the third time when the artist will host the event and she is also included in the nominations for five awards.

Megan Thee Stallion has been busy with the ongoing Hot Girl Summer Tour

The All Dat rapper is celebrating the success of her third album, Megan, which grabbed the top spot on different charts. She announced the Hot Girl Summer Tour in March this year and shared an Instagram post about the same, revealing the dates of the shows.

The tour was initially teased by Megan Thee Stallion when she appeared on Good Morning America in January 2024 and said:

“The Hot Girl Summer Tour is gonna be 2024 summer time. I feel like I’ve never been able to be outside doing my own thing during the summer since 2019.”

The first show was held in Minneapolis on May 14 and will conclude in New York City on September 26.
