This writer is terrified for the second half of Season Four of Emily in Paris. Now, don’t get me wrong, I know what you’re going to say — scared of a show? Yes! I am scared because I am invested. That investment makes me scared of what will happen with the characters and who will end up with who.

There is a lot that hangs in the balance.

Netflix dropped first-look photos of the second half of the season and if I am being honest, there are just more questions than answers. The marketing team is doing the right thing here. They are keeping the intrigue up.

And TBH, I am a little scared that Emily is going to remain in Rome. Granted, Rome is my favorite city, so I would totally understand that choice.

“Emily finds herself with a busy travel schedule,” Creator Darren Star said when speaking to Tudum. “From the French Alps to the piazzas of Rome, viewers will vicariously experience amazing new locations through Emily’s eyes. Expect new characters, a lot more drama, romance, and a whole new language to try and master.”

Romance better be happening between her and Alfie. My end game has been chosen. You don’t choose the ship, the ship chooses you.

Season four of Emily in Paris takes place, “After the dramatic events of Camille and Gabriel’s misbegotten wedding, Emily is reeling: She has strong feelings for two men, but now Gabriel’s expecting a baby with his ex, and Alfie’s worst fears about her and Gabriel have been confirmed. At work, Sylvie is forced to confront a thorny dilemma from her past for the sake of her marriage, and the Agence Grateau team navigates personnel shakeups. Mindy and the band prepare for Eurovision, but when funds run dry, they’re forced to get thrifty. Emily and Gabriel’s chemistry is undeniable as they work together towards a Michelin star, but two big secrets threaten to undo everything they’ve dreamed of. As old patterns clash with new complications, Emily feels drawn to a potential new love interest… and a new city.”

Emily in Rome is something we can definitely get behind. Could you?
