We’re still relatively early in the process of filling out the lineup for Summerfest 2025, but the festival landed arguably its splashiest booking Tuesday with the announcement that Megan Thee Stallion and special guest Flo Milli will play the American Family Insurance Amphitheater on Saturday, June 28.
The megawatt hip-hop double bill joins an Amp roster that includes James Taylor on June 21 and Lainey Wilson on June 26. Summerfest has also revealed a trio of BMO Pavilion performers: The Avett Brothers on June 26, Cake on June 27 and country artist Riley Green on June 28.
The latest additions to the amphitheater schedule shouldn’t need much of an introduction to anyone paying even half attention to the music world — or social media, for that matter. Megan Thee Stallion is a three-time Grammy winner with three Billboard number ones: “Savage,” “WAP” and most recently “Hiss.” That last track appeared on her album, Megan, which came out this past June.
MTS puts her energy into more than just music, though. She’s popped up on screen in everything from the 2024 remake of Mean Girls to the Disney+ series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Then there’s her philanthropic work, which includes heading up the Pete and Thomas Foundation, a nonprofit that aids women, children, senior citizens and underserved communities in her native Houston and around the world.
Like her amphitheater colleague, Flo Milli dropped an album earlier this year, putting out Fine Ho, Stay in March. The pair also made some noise in the past week by sharing the video for “Roc Steady,” a track from Megan: Act II that features Flo Milli, and earlier this year when they both appeared on Latto’s “Sunday Service.”
Tickets for the June 28 show featuring Megan Thee Stallion with special guest Flo Milli will go on sale later this week — first via a couple presales that start at 10 a.m. Thursday and then to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday. For more information, visit the show page on Ticketmaster.
