Travel abroad, endless fashionable looks and a whole lot of chaos can be found in shows other than Netflix’s Emily in Paris. There are plenty of options for viewers to check out during the wait for the recently announced Season 5 of the Lily Collins-starring show. Part 1’s August 15 launch contained five episodes and Part 2, which arrived Sept. 12, brought the fourth season to a conclusion with five more.

Main characters like Lily Collins’ Emily Cooper include Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) in Sex and the City and And Just Like That… as well as AnnaSophia Robb’s version in The Carrie Diaries. Anna Cathcart’s Kitty Song Covey from To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before spinoff series XO, Kitty also finds herself in similar situations abroad both in her love life and school life.

Partner Track emulates the stylish outfits of Emily in Paris as well as Emily’s spur of the moment marketing instincts, except in lawyer firm as Ingrid Yun (Arden Cho) works as a lawyer looking to make partner at an elite New York City law firm. Alexandra Turshen stars as Rachel Friedman, Bradley Gibson plays Tyler Robinson and Nolan Gerard Funk plays Dan Fallon. Ingrid’s love triangle takes place between Nick Laren (Rob Heaps) and Jeff Murphy (Dominic Sherwood). Partner Track was cancelled after its first season, but it remains on Netflix to stream.

AnnaSophia Robb in 'Strings Attached' of 'The Carrie Diaries'

Creator Amy Harris is behind The Carrie Diaries, which premiered on the CW in 2013. AnnaSophia Robb plays Carrie Bradshaw in her junior year of high school in the early 1980s. And Just Like That

Also created by Darren Star, Sex and the City features four New York women who bond over their sex lives and what it’s like to be a woman in the big city in the late 1990s. Sarah Jessica Parker’s Carrie Bradshaw is quite similar to Lily Collins’ Emily Cooper, as Star himself said. The series also stars Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis and Kim Cattrall. Sex and the City is streaming on Max.

And Just Like That… picks up with Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte (Kristin Davis) in their 50s. Michael Patrick King took the reins from Star in this reboot of the original mothership series. Sara Ramirez, Evan Handler, Sarita Choudhurry, Nicole Ari Parker and Karen Pittman also joined the sequel series. And Just Like That… is streaming on Max, and season 3 of the show is on the way.

Anna Cathcart in 'XO, Kitty'

Though this Jenny Han spinoff series targets a younger age group than Emily in Paris, it features another adventure abroad and complicated love shape that is more than a triangle. Katherine “Kitty” Song Covey (Anna Cathcart) goes to Seoul, South Korea for a study abroad year in high school at the Korean International School of Seoul or KISS, where her late mother also studied abroad for a year. Kitty experiences a similar sense of self-discovery like Emily does in Paris, and she also gets tangled up with a complex love triangle that became more than a triangle at the end of season 1. Season 2 is in the works. XO, Kitty is streaming on Netflix.

Pauline Chalamet, Amrit Kaur, Alyah Chanelle Scott and Renee Rapp in 'The Sex Lives of College Girls'

Rapp has since departed the show, but season 3 is set to arrive soon on Max, where the first two seasons are streaming.

Corinna Brown and Kizzy Edgell in 'Heartstopper'

Heartstopper has a similar light-hearted approach to serious themes. Based on the graphic novels by Alice Oseman, the series follows Charlie Spring (Joe Lockey) and Nick Nelson (Kit Connor) as they feel sparks for each other in school. Season 2 brought the boys and their adorable friend group to Paris for a school trip. The show is available to stream on Netflix, and season 3 will arrive in October.

Sutton Foster and Martha Plimpton in 'Younger'

Another of Darren Star’s creations, Younger, features a single mother mistaken for younger than she really is. This gives her motivation to start over in her love life and career. Sutton Foster plays Liza Miller, Hilary Duff plays Kelsey Peters, Debi Mazar plays Maggie Amato and Miriam Shor plays Diana Trout. The series also features Nico Tortorella, Peter Hermann, Laura Benanti and Molly Bernard. Younger is available to stream on Paramount+.

Heather Locklear and Andrew Shue in 'Melrose Place
