Ricky Martin would love to return for a second season of the Apple TV+ show set in Palm Beach.

The Palm Beach period comedy, Palm Royale, is still be airing—there are just four episodes left in the season—but, like many viewers, we’re already wondering if a season two is in the works.
In an interview with T&C, producer and star Laura Dern referenced a “first season” of Palm Royale which leads us to believe a second season is not entirely out of the question.
“I know with Mike White, when we were developing Enlightened, that was always a gorgeous question to ask: How can something stand on its own, and be cinematic and true, and then how can you just also start all over again?” she says of the possibility of a season two. “As producers, that’s been I think a really fun thing to learn about in story. And [writer] Abe [Syliva]’s done a brilliant job and a bold job at doing that.”
Stars of Palm Royale have also said they’d love to return for a second season, including Ricky Martin, who plays Robert. He told T&C, “I would love to have a season two!”
The show was loosely based on Mr. & Mrs. American Pie by Juliet McDaniel, which does not have a sequel. However, since the Apple TV+ show differed from the novel, there’s a chance the writers will continue to take the story in a new direction.
There have been no official updates on a season two, but we’ll keep you posted as soon as we learn more.
