“Thank you for catching me…every single time,” the rapper wrote in a post shared to Instagram.

Nicki Minaj is celebrating five years with Kenneth “Zoo” Petty.

On Monday, Oct. 21, the “Anaconda” rapper, 41, shared a sweet tribute to her husband — whom she shares son, “Papa Bear,” 4 — on Instagram, calling him the “Ken” to her “Barbie.”

“4 years after we first met. Love at first sight. I’m so proud of you. Thank you for catching me…every single time. Thank you for our little BFF,” Minaj began the post.

She continued: “Dear Ken, Happy 5th Anniversary, Love, Barbie 🎀 10.20 ✨”

Alongside the caption, Minaj shared various photos and videos. In the first clip, Petty, 46, can be seen holding their son, while the next two snaps feature the pair cuddled up. The fourth and fifth images feature the pair walking side-by-side, while the sixth features Petty and their son at an arcade.

The seventh snap features the couple sitting, with the “Everybody” musician posed next to a Dior purse, while the eighth image shows the couple spending time with their child. The second to last photo features “Papa Bear” through a red tunnel, and the final image features Minaj solo in sunglasses looking unimpressed.

The “Super Freaky Girl” hitmaker met Petty when she was a teenager.

They initially crossed paths as students at the same high school. The pair lost touch for years before reconnecting in 2018, leading to a whirlwind romance. They tied the knot in 2019 and welcomed a son in 2020.

Over the years, the couple has faced legal troubles.

In September, the lawsuit filed against Minaj and Petty stemming from the alleged assault of a security guard in 2019, has now resulted in the plaintiff attempting to further enforce prior judgment that stated he should receive more than half-million dollars in compensation.

Court documents reviewed by PEOPLE revealed that Thomas Weidenmuller, the security guard allegedly assaulted by Petty behind the scenes of Minaj’s Frankfurt, Germany, concert in 2019, filed a memo of costs after judgment and a writ of execution against them on Sept. 6 and Sept. 13, respectively, for $526,110.74.

At the time, Minaj’s legal team did not respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

Petty has also battled legal issues of his own over the years.

In July 2022, he was sentenced to three years probation and a year of in-home detention, per to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, after pleading guilty to failing to register as a sex offender in the state of California in 2020.

Last year, in court documents reviewed by PEOPLE, Petty was sentenced to 120 days of house arrest by a federal judge in Los Angeles after being recorded on video “making threatening remarks toward a specific individual while in the company of someone with a criminal record,” a violation of the terms of his probation.

At the time, The Hollywood Reporter cited that Petty’s remarks were directed towards rapper Offset, although the latter’s name was not mentioned in court documents reviewed by PEOPLE.

In April, Petty was also granted permission to travel internationally from April 17 to July 14 to support his wife on her Pink Friday World Tour while on probation for failing to register as a sex offender, according to documents obtained by PEOPLE.
