Nicki Minaj shares the reason she still makes music professionally.

We previously reported that Minaj announced that she’s gearing up to drop a deluxe version of her Pink Friday 2 album. The rapper shared via X, “Barbz relax it’s just a deluxe,” she began. “I love it tho. I love it so much. I’ll be performing 2-3 songs from this version of the album on the PF2 #GagCityReloaded TOUR. Release date = I’ll keep you posted.”

In another tweet, Minaj shared her insiparation behind continuing to make music. She writes, “And even tho music is my TRUE PASSION, (biggest @ the moment), I think the only reason I still do it professionally, is because of the Barbz.”

The post continued: “I tell ppl all the time. Also being w/a label that I’ve rlly become a family with. It’s the things ppl don’t see. I’ll tell u guys 1 day.”

Minaj is also gearing up to go on another tour. This time around it’ll feature  Tyga, BIA and dancehall artist Skillibeng.
