Megan Thee Stallion has announced a third Atlanta performance as part of her “Hot Girl Summer Tour 2024,” following the previous cancellations of her May 31 and June 1 shows due to significant water main breaks in the Atlanta area. Taking to her Instagram, the Houston rapper delighted fans with the news that she’ll be back on stage at the State Farm Arena on July 2, 2024. The added date is a boon for those who were unable to attend the rescheduled shows on June 2 and 3, according to FOX5 Atlanta.
In response to the water main issue that caused the initial rescheduling, Megan expressed her disappointment, stating, “I’m extremely disappointed because I had a huge surprise for the Hotties tonight, but we will follow the Mayor’s protocol,” as reported by FOX5 Atlanta. It’s clear the performer is looking to make good on her loyal fanbase, affectionately known as “hotties.” For those eager to secure their spot, tickets were set to go on sale at noon, local time. Memphis rapper Glorilla, who joined Megan on the tour as a special guest, will also make a return appearance for the added stop, giving fans another chance to exclusively witness the duo perform together.
The “Hot Girl Coach” and her compatriot Glorilla are also adding a tour date in Charlotte, North Carolina, performing at the PNC Music Pavilion on July 3, 2024. After the Atlanta and Charlotte shows, Megan plans to round out her tour with a solo performance at Lollapalooza in Chicago on August 1, 2024. These tour dates signify Megan’s domination of the season, bringing her signature energy and beats across major cities in the country.
In a show of resilience and commitment to her fans, Megan emphasized her return. “ATL and CHARLOTTE HOTTIESSSSS, I am coming back next week,” she proclaimed in an Instagram post, according to a report by 11Alive. The set time for the Atlanta show is 8 p.m., with doors opening an hour prior. With tickets already on sale, anticipation is expectedly high as “Hot Girl Summer” echoes once more through the Southern heat.
