In a new interview, Megan Thee Stallion opens up about The Hot Girl Tour and her relationship with GloRilla. The Houston Hottie told the publication her favorite part of being on tour was the fans. “…I’ve loved seeing the Hotties pop out in different cities across the world, party with me, and surprise me with pretty flowers and gifts.”

She added, “I can’t believe my tour is almost over, but it’s been an incredible experience. I’ve been dreaming about having my own tour for such a long time.” The “Mamushi” rapper also reveals that the tour allowed her to get closer to GloRilla. The Memphis rap star is currently on tour with Megan Thee Stallion as her opener. “I also really love how close me and GloRilla got, and we’ve really built a genuine friendship during our time on tour together,” she tells the outlet.

The Year Of Thee Stallion

The Hot Girl Summer Tour kicked off earlier this summer on May 14 in Minneapolis. Since then, the pair have made stops in major cities like New York, Houston, Philadelphia, and more. On June 28, Megan Thee Stallion released her third studio album, MEGAN. Spanning 18 tracks, the rapper offers a fiery dish of Southern hospitality. The album boasts features from UGK, GloRIlla, Victoria Monet, and more.

During a May interview, Megan Thee Stallion reveals the project’s snake-inspired vibe comes from her love of reptiles. “We started with the snake because, first of all, I love snakes, but I feel like snakes are so misunderstood, especially in Western culture.” She added, “Snakes represent rebirth, spirituality. I’m not really a person that’s like, ‘Oh my God, sunshine and just super bubbly, happy.’ I like darker things…I picked the snake because… it’s kind of like an antihero.”
